Public Perceptions of Autonomous Vehicles

As part of the Autonomous Mobility Studio, MURP students Daniel Clark, Brandon McCord, James Mills and Rahel Tekle created and administered a survey on perceptions of autonomous vehicles to 443 people in the northern Virginia area.

Daniel Clark conducted further statistical analysis of the data, revealing how perceptions of AVs break down by age and gender.

Special thanks to Mobility Lab and the Ballston BID for their participation and support!
